BIOPSY REPORT

Due Date: 10/3/2012

RR Rose Godiva

Guns n Roses has had an uncanny ability to improve virtually every female that he has been brought to, but the breeding to Sakura, was a match "made in heaven".
We didn't know how good Godiva was until she turned 2 years of age.
Sure, she always had extreme brightness, handle and "eye popping" length but we would have liked to bring a crimpier fleece to the showring. Well it's crimpier at age 2 as she nurses her baby, now that it's growing a tad slower. Not to worry...it's still looong.
It should come as no surpise, given Godiva's pedigree and the outstanding cria that we are seeing out of our own Snowmass Midnight Sun for 2011, RR Venezia, has us shaking our heads (in a good way!)
Needless to say, this breeding has been repeated for 2012.

We biopsied Godiva through Ian Watt and her reults are outstanding!

@ age 24 months
Density: 52.6/mm2

S/P ratio: 10.8:1

In-skin mean primary fiber diameter: 19.0 microns, SD 2.3
In-skin mean secondary fiber diameter: 13.8 microns, SD 2.4

Comments:
"An excellent rosegrey female exhibiting very high density (for any color female huacaya female alpaca), very good S:P ratio and an excellent fiber population differential.
The micrograph...shows orderly and regular follicle groups which contribute to these elite fleece traits expressed in the biopsy."
