Snowmass Incan Velvet

Velvet brings to us the genetics of Snowmass Incan Magic to add to our grey breeding program. She is one of two foundation females that we have with those lines which we hope will continue to provide us with sustained fineness in grey. She is beautifully proportioned, has a superior fleece with a fabulous hand.
She is an effortless birther, good mom and abundant milker.

Velvet presented us with RR Koyuki in 2008. Koyuki is testament to her mom's genetic contribution because she is a white out of a grey dam and fawn sire who had an impressive show debut as a juvie taking first at the Cal Classic and second at TxOlan in very large classes. Even more impressive, Koyuki took a Reserve Color Championship at Alpacamania in 2009! Anytime a grey dam produces a cria that does well in white, we believe that it is noteworthy.

Her '09 cria, RR Gun's Lone Ranger out of our own Aussie Guns n Roses is a "knock your socks off" rare modern rose grey who we believe should have herdsire potential.

Repeating this breeding was a "no brainer".
