RR Polly's Pocket
Pocket is the first to the gate to greet you and investigate your purpose. She brings Caligula-->Poseidon--> Isaac lines from dad. She is a sturdy foundation female who has proven her self to be an outstanding producer. Her first cria, RR Sandro Botticelli is a dynamite light fawn with, dense, bright beautifully defined, superfine, superbright fleece. Check out his fleece. We hadn't looked at him in weeks when we took this picture. You can only imagine our delight! We repeated this breeding for 2012. There are good reasons to believe that we will see similar fleece in character in this current breeding...but can you imagine if Sunny transits his E allele (5 of 6 blacks when bred to black) for a dark rose grey female? The light fawn that we got in 2011 is an excellent prospect, but we're still betting that there's a grey or black just waiting to come out. Oh, and Sandro? He wouldn't be wasted in a color or even cottage breeding program. We'll bet he pulls a ton of color and stand proudly this spring in a light fawn class. We like the potential in this repeat breeding and thing it it is a bargain at $6500.
