Carmelita's
buttery fleece is full of character, and showing good staple length. Don't
let her fawn color fool you. She has strong color genetics in her
four-generation pedigree. Enchanter and Sonata bring bloodlines full of
color, grey, black, brown and dark fawn. Carmelita has multiple options
for colored cria.
Her sire, Snowmass Enchanter, has consistently produced offspring with
typey good looks, quality fleeces and wonderful temperaments. Enchanter's
grandfathers are Pperuvian Pluro and Peruvian Don Julio, both now standing
in Australia. Enchanter's 2 year histogram was 21.4/3.6/16.6/1.4. His 2001
show record included 1st at the International Alpaca Odessy, International
Alpacafest Composite show, 2nd at AOBA Nationals & The All American
Futurity.
Carmelita has excellent potential for quality cria, and would be a valued
addition for breeders interested in producing quality grey offspring.
Her dam, Sonata, brings a pedigree of silver grey genetics to this girl.
Sonata is still very soft at 13 years old, and continues her history of
easy pregnancies, good mothering skills, and lots of milk (Carmelita's IgG
