Her dad is an up and coming herdsire in Canada out of CPeruvian Rafael, a top stud and Jolimont Peruvian Electra who has been a steady producer.
We were fortunate to have Mona from our 2006 cria crop. She is very feminine with excellent gait and balance. Her bite and proportions are correct. Her first shear revealed a very high rate of growth which will likely belie very good density. Year one showed a bold, uniform, high amplitude crimp. It is coming in with good luster after shearing.
We have re-focused our program on color and as a result are reluctantly offering Mona for sale. She will likely be ready for breeding late fall and should make a solid foundation female. Her mom is a big strong girl who effortlessly carried her pregnancies and was one of most dependable matrons.
